THE PALMER COURSE
AT STONEWALL RESORT
A letter from our Director of Golf, Mike Rogers:
The Palmer Course at Stonewall Resort has experienced a weather pattern that has impacted the playing conditions on our signature golf course. The current condition of the course is playable, but you may experience several areas that are dryer than normal resulting in distressed turf. Our team is focused on improving these playing conditions through additional irrigation techniques. We are working diligently to return the course to the conditions our guests expect.
Over the past year, we have placed a large investment into the course by rebuilding several bunkers and replacing cart paths throughout the course. Unfortunately, during a recent storm, we lost several electrical components impacting our irrigation system. Our vendor and partners are working side by side with our team to source and install the needed equipment and upgrades.
Once completed, our irrigation system will be running at full capacity and our turf conditions will begin to return to satisfactory playing conditions in a few weeks. We thank you in advance for your patience and continued support as we continue to improve our course.
